Halloween Costume …Dance, Clog and tumbling Show. Feel free to bring a chair to sit on.  We must leave room around the edges for the shoppers to go through!  be there 15 min early to get lined up! We start on time! Make sure they wear their class shoe ties.  That’s how I tell the classes apart since they all have their  Halloween costumes on!

Dec  6 @3:30–-Boulder City Electric Light Night Parade- PARADE goes down the road at 4:00 be there by 3:30 …we will wear Santa hats,  Red Brenda Shirts and black pants with a silver sequin belt.(I’ll  make some belts to sell at the studio closer to the parade) The kids can bring 2 flashlights to wave around! If anyone loves to decorate with lights let me know..I’m up for anything!

1. STUDIO RULES: Smile and have a good attitude, no gum, hair tied up or back, and wear the appropriate attire (See dress code below in #7). Please wear dance shoes to every class, no running in studio before class or after, and No tumbling on premises unless instructor is present, No Visitors!

2. **Dance Review Costumes: will be ordered ASAP so plan on$50 due WITH Sept pmt.

3. FEE's: are due the first lesson of the month…$35.00 per month.

For your convenience you may pay $375.00 for the year Sept –May...which includes the $10 review fee due in April from every student and costume.

5. Drive carefully in neighborhood. Do not enter circle. Pick up child next to my house rather than across the street to avoid accidents. Please carpool whenever possible. Enter through studio door in the back of my house. Be EXTRA KIND to my neighbors…. Drive Smart!!! Please do not HONK for child to come!

6. Shoes- I have some used tap and ballet and clog shoes in the studio for sale. Feel free to call before the first week of classes to buy them. Don’t wait till the class, we have lots to do at class! If you want to sell your old shoes, please label them using masking tape with your name on the bottom. You will have a better chance of selling them if they are here before classes start in August. (I cannot be responsible for lost or stolen shoes but I will give you the money as I get it.) Please don’t bring me worn out shoes because I throw them away!

DANCERS –A Leotard (studio preference is black), with white tights, BLACK tap shoes, & WHITE ballet shoes.

TUMBLERS – Girls: Please wear a leotard and shorts to class! Boys: Shirt and shorts. Tuck shirt in please.

Buy WHITE tumbling shoes. (I will order tumbling shoes the first week of class…If you are interested, send cash or a check for $18.00 along with your monthly pmt and state the size. I do have a few in stock.)

Heritage day parade-April 21,2012

I think we have beed in the parade for 27 years! Thanks to Chris Rodarte for the nice Ride! The kids were fabulase and we danced down the road to Im a believer~ The little ones rode in the trailer led by Destiny who had a broken leg! glad she is better now!

Logandale fair was so fun this year! we did a grat show and the dancers ,tumblers and cloggers all did so good! Smile crown goes out to Kellie Clove!

Happy New Year 2012
Dance Classes start again Jan 3 and we are ready to have a fun time!
We will hold the Monday class every Monday in January including MLK day. Monday kids please try to come if at all possible!
March 15 (THURSDAY) will be picture day for all classes- (there will be no class that day)
Picture times schedule will be up soon. (He will still do a few family pictures again this year.)
We already have a show scheduled:
March 17th
7:00 sharp
in the Henderson Amp theater on water street.
This will be in conjunction with the Henderson St Patrick’s Day activities~ More info to follow
- June 1 2012, Friday( not Memorial Day weekend). @ 6:30 – The Big Dance Review at Horn Theater at CSN Cheyenne campus
(3200 E Cheyenne...take the 95 get on I-15 North to SLC get off Cheyenne exit go east aprox 1 mile)

-March 1- Review fee $10.00 extra per student (maximum $30 per family)due with March pmt to help cover the trophies and review expenses
March 15 Thursday, PICTURE DAY - Schedule will be announced later … here at the dance studio. Can do family pics on the 14th evening too.

Carnival Rides are a separate fee if you want to ride the rides.

Getting lined up for the Christmas parade in Boulder City. We have had and will have lots of fun Christmas shows this year!~

Upcoming shows and parades-
Dec 3 – Boulder City Electric Light Night Parade The parade will go down the road at 4:30 .Line up at 3:30on Utah Street.

…we will wear Santa hats, Red Brenda Shirts and black pants with a silver sequin belt.(I have belts at the studio for sale $2) The kids can bring 2 flashlights to wave around! Tumblers will want to wear gloves~ Dress warm under the red shirts~

** Go to second light in BC and make a right. Turn left at Adams Street and then a left onto Utah Street to find us. If anyone loves to decorate with lights let me know..I’m up for anything!


Dec 10 Winter fest… show at 1:00. line up 12:45. This show will be outside at the amp theater on Water Street behind the Henderson convention Center. WE will wear red shirts and NOT COSTUMES this year. IT has been so cold in the past so lets save our costumes~

Dec 17 at6:00 pm- ( inside show)Magical Forest at the Opportunity Village-(Im calling Debbie Smith Coordinator-880-4081) We will get a free ticket for the dancers… butparents and family will need to pay.Doors open at 5:30 and the show will start at 6:00, you may stay after to enjoy the lights and entertainment. more info later. I will attach the ticket to get in, when I remind you later!

COSTUMES Please take care of them, Do not eat or drink in them so they dont have to be laundered! this usually ruins them!
Dancers-We wear white tights with all dance costumes -(except for the troop-they know what to wear.)
Cloggers- can wear tan tights and white ankle socks
Girls Tumbling costumes wear black knee socks I will send home with you! and your tumbling shoes
Boys tumbling clas wear red brenda shirt tucked in and other shirt over top so we dont show bellies, and white socks with your tumbling shoes, thanks~
GIRLS-Hair in a poni tail and hair accessory on top! thanks!
Makeup is always encourged with the costumes! :)

Our first show of the season is a success! Lots of dancers showed up to the sr housing to do a show for the residents. They smiled and entertained! Everyone looked sharp in their Brendas dance shirts and silver belts. hair tied back and happy faces. Good job dancers and cloggers!~
